Clients hire Walsh to assess and investigate properties for contamination before purchase, ensure they comply with the environmental rules and regulations, and conduct remediation (clean-up). Our expertise includes investigation, remediation, and management of soil, groundwater, porewater, sediment, surface water, air, and radiation. Essentially, Walsh has the capabilities to complete all phases of a project including the due diligence phase through site investigation, delineation, remediation, permitting, demolition, earthwork, and into construction. Walsh works with our clients and their architects/engineers to ensure projects are completed expeditiously and in compliance within the regulatory requirements.
What We Do
This new service with over 20 years of technical experience allows the Walsh Company to provide the same high quality performance conducting site assessment and remedial action; develop environmental work plans, offering pre-construction and construction services such as deed permitting and approval documentation, sampling and management including import/export, on site reuse, tracking and manifests, demolition and renovation. We oversee regulatory closure of contaminated properties, and act as a liaison between landowner, developer & Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP).

Our scope included soil management to reuse the existing soils onsite that included clean fill, historic fill, and geotechnically unsuitable materials for surcharging the earth to prepare for the load of the future building.
